It is with the greatest of sadness that we have learned of the passing of the inspirational Grand Master Sheena Sutherland IX.
Not only was she a true Taekwon-Do pioneer, she was undoubtedly one of the nicest and dedicated people you could ever meet. GM Sutherland was an inspiration to many throughout her life, not least as she broke down barriers by becoming the first ever female Black Belt and only the second ever female Grand Master, she always lead from the front and showed no boundaries could hold her back. Her energy and enthusiasm were infectious, her dedication to her art boundless.
We would like to pass our sincerest condolences to Grand Master Sutherland’s family and many friends at this truly sad time.
